Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 5, 2026

Rabbit Logs (the "Blog") establishes and discloses this privacy policy in accordance with applicable data-protection law, in order to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related concerns promptly and smoothly.

1. Purpose of Processing

The Blog processes personal information for the purposes below. The information processed is not used for any purpose other than those listed, and if the purpose changes, the Blog will take the necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent.

  • Providing website features and content: normal service operation and delivery.
  • Service improvement and statistical analysis: analyzing visit frequency and usage statistics to provide a stable service and improve content quality.
  • Personalized advertising: serving personalized ads through third-party advertising providers such as Google AdSense, to show ads relevant to the user's interests.

2. Items Collected and Method of Collection

The Blog does not offer membership registration, and most content can be viewed without entering any personal information. However, the following information may be collected automatically during use of the service.

  • Items — Service usage records: access logs, IP address, cookies.
  • Items — Device information: browser type, OS information.
  • Method: when a user visits the Blog or uses the service, information is collected automatically by Cloudflare's visit analytics (which does not use cookies), Google Analytics (GA4, which uses cookies), and by advertising platforms such as Google AdSense.

In addition, when a user emails contact@rabbitlogs.com directly, the email address and any information contained in the message are collected and used for the purpose of replying, and are destroyed within a reasonable period after the reply is complete.

3. Retention and Use Period

  • Automatically collected information (access logs, cookies, etc.): retained until the purpose of statistical analysis and personalized advertising is achieved, and destroyed without delay thereafter. However, it may be retained for a certain period under the policies of external services such as Cloudflare.

4. Provision to Third Parties

In principle, the Blog does not provide a data subject's personal information to outside parties, except in the following cases.

  • When the data subject has given separate consent.
  • When required by law, or when an investigative agency requests it in accordance with the procedures and methods set out in law for investigative purposes.
  • When necessary for statistics, academic research, or market research, and provided in a form that cannot identify a specific individual.
  • Advertising providers: third-party advertising providers such as Google AdSense may use cookies to serve personalized ads. Personally identifiable information (name, address, email, phone number, etc.) is not shared with advertising providers in this process.

5. Rights of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them

Data subjects may exercise the following rights regarding their personal information at any time.

  • Request access to personal information.
  • Request correction in case of errors.
  • Request deletion.
  • Request suspension of processing.

These rights may be exercised in writing or by email to the privacy officer named in Section 8, and the Blog will act on such requests without delay.

6. Destruction Procedure and Method

  • Procedure: when personal information becomes unnecessary — due to the lapse of the retention period or achievement of the processing purpose — it is selected and destroyed with the approval of the privacy officer.
  • Method: personal information stored as electronic files is deleted using technical methods that make the records irrecoverable.

7. Cookies and How to Refuse Them

The Blog uses cookies to provide individually tailored services. Google Analytics uses cookies for visit analytics. It also allows third-party advertising providers, through Google AdSense, to use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits.

  • Purpose: cookies analyze access frequency and visit times (Google Analytics) to provide optimized information and personalized advertising (Google AdSense).
  • Refusing cookies: users can choose whether to accept cookies. Through browser settings, you may allow all cookies, be prompted each time a cookie is stored, or refuse all cookies.
  • Example (Chrome): top-right [⋮] → Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data, where you can set your cookie preferences.
  • Opting out of Google Analytics: users may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent data collection.
  • Opting out of personalized ads: users may stop personalized ad delivery on Google's Ad Settings page.
  • Refusing cookies may make some tailored services harder to use.

8. Privacy Officer and Grievance Handling

  • Name: Rabbit Logs operator.
  • Contact (email): contact@rabbitlogs.com.

Data subjects may direct any privacy-related inquiries, complaints, or remedy requests arising from use of the service to the privacy officer.
